Warm neutral tones in a soft monochrome palette, paired with wood accents.
Located in central Stockholm, this primary care clinic reimagines what healthcare spaces can be. Tasked with designing an environment that feels safe, warm, and genuinely welcoming—while still meeting the rigorous standards of clinical design. We chose to see regulations not as restrictions, but as tools for creativity. Every functional demand became an opportunity to craft something distinctive.
A soft monochrome palette of warm neutrals, paired with wood details and touches of sky blue, sets a calming backdrop. Playful forms in the furniture add a sense of energy, while the examination rooms feature blue ceilings—believed to reduce stress when patients lie down for treatment. Materials typically associated with utility and durability were reinterpreted through refined craftsmanship, balancing cost-effectiveness with an elevated aesthetic. The result is a clinic that blends professionalism with comfort, where thoughtful design supports wellbeing and reshapes expectations of modern healthcare environments.
