Magis at Salone del Mobile 2023

For the third time, we collaborated with Magis to design their stand at Salone del Mobile, continuing our exploration of spatial expression for the esteemed Italian furniture producer. This year’s focus shifted to individual interaction, highlighting both new and iconic pieces from their catalogue. The installation emphasized Magis’s commitment to innovation and design, with each product showcased under literal spotlights.

The stand featured a creamy background of lacquered corrugated metal, serving as a canvas for colorful Magis designs, illuminated by custom lanterns distributed across the 500 sqm area. These vertical beacons helped navigate the space, creating a unique stand typology. In contrast, a central staff and meeting area, composed of black-stained timber and deep yellow felt, provided an intimate atmosphere, reflecting the playful juxtaposition characteristic of the Magis brand.
